FINALLY! :)

205.5 this morning.

I'm a happy girl.

Now, if only I didn't have this 101 degree fever... I'd be happier.

I'm working from home today. Ugh. I feel like crap.

Back at beautiful 209. Think my body likes this number, folks?

So sick of being fat. Just about ready to throw in the towel. I should be down to like 195 by now!

Where are we throwing our towels? Can I throw mine over the edge of a cruise ship in Greece?

Our body chemistry is known for having plateaus that you need to mix up your training or eating to break through.

I personally am aiming for something more general than a # on the scale. I'm aiming for better health. Ability to do push ups, participate in outdoor activities, eat more veggies for disease fighting benefits, get regular exercise.

I am REALLY hoping some of this fat melts off too, but I'm in no rush. I have some really cute clothes and swimsuits that I used to wear that would be great to get use out of again.

Why God hates me, a short story.

Why does God hate Melissa?

Let's weigh the reasons.

1. My period. Every 2 weeks. Heavy enough to freaking soak all the way thru a Super Tampon and my jeans. At work.

2. The constant yeast infection that I've had for 3 - no 4 months now.

3. Mormon Missionaries at my door yesterday during the middle of the Superbowl. Just as I put the kids to bed. Yeah.

4. My weight is back to 211 overnight. Yes, I realize that something is fucked up. What it is, though, I don't know. Eat less - work out more. That's what I'm doing. Do you want me to go back to 600 calories a day, God? Do you?

Give.

Up.

Maybe tomorrows post could be why God loves Melissa?

Superbowl weekend put me up... 3.5 lbs... but it was kinda worth it... as long as I keep going on the working out (week 5 of my 6 week program) maybe it will even out again over the week once I go back to more sensible eating.

Aww come now. There has to be something better to do than weigh yourself 3 x a day to see if you are at 207 yet!

I'm not one to talk because I am obsessive like that with my bank account. Maybe if I actually balanced my checkbook I would be less attentive.

Oh well. I will work on my obsession and you can work on yours.

Holding Steady today...

Yep - still at 208.

However, if you look at my fitday, you'll see that I burned far more calories than I ate yesterday. I just wasn't hungry and didn't eat much. PLUS I worked out quite hard. I figure I burned about 700 calories and only ate about 650 or so.

Woot.

I did upper body yesterday and I'm paying for it today, but it hurts SO GOOD! :)

I completely didn't do it on purpose. I just about died when I saw that! :)

Another Down

208 this morning!

Woot.

I worked out like a banshee yesterday too. Burned about 520 calories on the ellipical in 40 minutes and then lifted for another 40.

Today will be the upper body workout. Yesterday was lower. I kicked everything up 5 - 10 lbs so that I could push myself.

Well - it worked. :)

Woot!

I'm glad to see your continued commitment, it makes me believe that maybe I can do it too.

Once my Si6 is over I hope to adopt a workout every day that I can schedule. Skipping days when I have evening activities that start early, but working out as often as possible.

This last week it was Thursday and a very busy Saturday that I had to miss my Si6 workout :(

Well glad to see you are keeping up on your post a day! I am envious, I try for a couple a week on my main blog (hothealthy).

May you achieve all your workout goals this week :)
